Bill Halpin
Bill has been in the landscaping industry for 30 years. He owned and operated a lawn and landscape business while growing up on Long Island, New York and has used all of his experience to build Greenspace Landscaping, Inc. Bill has a degree in Fisheries Biology from Environmental School of Forestry in Syracuse, New York. He brings a wealth of knowledge to Greenspace concentrating his time in Commercial bidding, Hardscape Design and Project Management. His specialty is working with natural stone to create amazing patios, walls, and living spaces. Although he spends a lot of time managing the company, he also loves to be hands on and be involved with the installation part of projects.
Bill also owns an architectural salvage business where he reclaims items such as granite, old barns, stone foundations, gates, old farm equipment and many other items that he incorporates into the landscapes he builds or sells to the public. He uses these reclaimed materials in creative ways to enhance the unique qualities of many Greenspace Projects. He spends his holidays exploring different parts of the world and fly fishing the flats. |

Micheline Halpin
Micheline has lived in Bozeman since 1990 and is co-owner of Greenspace Landscaping, Inc. She has a degree in English literature from Syracuse University and a degree in Landscape Design and Horticulture from Montana State University. Her expertise includes Landscape Design for commercial and residential projects, Project Management and Estimating. Greenspace has grown rapidly since its beginning in 1994 and Micheline’s role in the company has developed into overseeing daily operations of the business. Her expertise in business and personnel management has been integral to the success of Greenspace. She is proud of Greenspace and its commitment to providing quality service and beautiful outdoor living spaces.
Prior to moving to Bozeman, Micheline grew up in Guyana, Kenya and England where she kindled her passion for travel and culture. Micheline is an active participant in community organizations and loves to recreate in Montana’s natural beauty. She enjoys visiting undiscovered parts of the world, gardening (of course), skiing and has an insatiable appetite for reading.

Scott Urban
Scott Urban, General Manager of the firm has been with Greenspace for ten years. Scott is skilled in all aspects of Landscape Installation and Maintenance and his experience and understanding of the industry enables him to provide quality and service to our clients. Scott’s Management skills are exceptional and his dedication to the business has greatly contributed to the success and professionalism of Greenspace. The respect Scott has with the entire Greenspace crew is due to his dynamic managerial style. He has a bachelor’s degree in Earth Science from Montana State University and a passion for fly fishing and biking.

Katie Mulvey
Katie Mulvey is the Lead Landscape Designer and Project Manager at Greenspace. Her professional design experience includes all aspects of Landscape, Site and Urban Design as well as marketing and graphic design. Katie has a degree of English from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon and has a Master of Landscape Architecture degree from the University of Minnesota. Katie has a passion for sustainable design and construction solutions utilizing Native Plants with an emphasis on low use water management.
A Minnesota native, Katie’s design inspiration comes from 11 years of experience working in the Landscape field and outdoor education and traveling in beautiful, diverse wilderness areas from Alaska to Arizona. Katie is excited to share her experience and talents with the Greenspace team and to serve the community and its surrounds. In her free time, Katie loves backcountry skiing, mountain biking, climbing and fly fishing.

Shane Taylor
Shane Taylor is the Irrigation Manager of Greenspace which means he is involved with everything related to water in the company. Shane is a Montana native and has been in the irrigation industry since 1997. His performance based sprinkler system designs focus on quality, efficient water use and longevity. He operates the irrigation division with extensive knowledge and a commitment to excellence. Shane is a dedicated musician who also has a passion for coaching children's sports teams. |

DJ Krack
DJ Krack is the Shop Manager at Greenspace Landscaping, Inc. and has been with the firm for three year. DJ manages the extensive inventory of trucks and equipment the business has which is integral to the efficiency and success of our service. He lends support to the landscape crews and uses his experience in mechanics to keep the equipment running smoothly throughout the year. DJ was born and raised in Manhattan, MT where he spent five years working on a potato farm. After spending a year working as a Mason, DJ joined the Greenspace crew in the spring of 2005. During the winter months, and while he’s not plowing snow for the company, DJ spends his time hunting and snowboarding. In the summer he can be found camping, fishing, and dirt biking around the Gallatin Valley.

Paul Swartz
Paul Swartz is the Lead Landscape Supervisor at Greenspace Landscaping, Inc. Paul joined Greenspace in 2004 and has become an integral part of our team. Paul’s leadership skills enables him to manage the Landscape Installation crews and create a team environment. Paul’s highest priority is quality and customer service and his attention for detail in the landscape field is acceptional. Paul grew up in Madison, WI and moved to Bozeman in 2003. You can find him on the river, fly fishing in his leisure time. |
